Issue Position: Better-paying jobs that take advantage of New Mexico's strengths.

Issue Position

Our state has unique strengths: cultural diversity, an amazing landscape; abundant wind and sun; and hardworking, creative people. We should maximize our strengths with new, better-paying jobs in clean energy, technology, film, healthcare administration, and eco-tourism. New oil is a temporary help, but has environmental trade offs. New Mexico must expand its economy, be attractive to new companies, generate better paying jobs, and thus enlarge its tax base to provide critical services and high quality education.
